The concept of Dosa Express was the brainchild of Mr. Sathyaprasad Shetty.
After he returned from studying at the Hotel Institute Montreux in Switzerland, he wanted to contribute something special alongside the family business, ShettySons. Being a South Indian himself, he noticed a slow decline in the beloved Udupi restaurants, mainly because of the lack of skilled staff.
With the emergence of fast-food giants like McDonald's, Burger King, and various pizza chains, he understood that traditional South Indian cuisine faced a challenge in captivating the younger generation's taste buds.
Mr Shetty family has been in the food business for past 55 years & he himself joined the business at the age of 16 & learned this amazing business under his father & elder brother & while studying in switzerland in Hotel Management school & travelling across europe, he realized that the traditional south indian concept will face challenges from Multinational fast food brands which were more process dirven & also marketed heavily, targeting the youth, which the traditional Udupi restaurants simply don't believe In.
The concept is to serve authentic south Indian food & spice it up by adding some fusion items also keeping in mind the ever experimenting Indian youth when it comes to food.
We are mainly into mall counter operations & now venturing into stand alone properties like the one at sector 90, Noida. the space needed for counter is around 300 sq feet carpet area & for a stand alone property is a minimum 1000 sq feet carpet area. our focus is to give VALUE FOR MONEY...TASTE & SERVICE WISE.
